From 1991 to 1992, Dr. Oro was Chief Geologist of Jordex Resources, Inc., a mining company with operations in Canada, Mexico,Venezuela, and Colombia with responsibilities for privatization. |

Through 1991, Dr. Oro was General Director of the Geophysics Agency of Cuba, a Director of the Ministry of the Basic Industries in charge of the Mining Prospecting and Environmental Remediation, and was the acting Minister of Mines of the Republic of Cuba during a two year period. And was a member of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba and of the Soviet Union. |
