About Dr. Teo A. Babun, Jr.
Dr. Babun is President & CEO of Cuba-Caribbean Development, a consulting division of Babun Group Consulting, Inc., one of America's largest providers of strategic services related to Cuba, and the National Executive Director of ECHO-Cuba, a non-profit effort to facilitate independent human service development to providers and for humanitarian aid in Cuba.
Dr. Babun is the author of more than 100 manuscripts and reports on Cuban business, political, and economic issues, including The Business Guide to Cuba, a special report dealing with current and post-embargo business opportunities in the island, Cuba's Sea & Air Transportation, and Cuba Infrastructure & Opportunities,  a report dealing with
 
ten key industries in Cuba. His most recent publication is titled The Cuban Revolution: Years Of Promise.
Dr. Babun's experience and involvement as an analyst on Cuba business, economic, and religious issues is extensive. In addition to his consulting practice, Dr. Babun is Executive Director of ECHO-Cuba, a faith-based organization organized to assist the independent and emerging churches in Cuba.
He is a frequent guest commentator with CBS, CNN, CNBC, CBN, the BBC and the German Television Network; In addition, he is a guest columnist for a number of publications. Recently, Dr. Babun was profiled in Time Magazine for his pre-Cuba business efforts. His articles on Cuba have appeared in The Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, The Wall Street Journal, The Economists, The Americas Business Journal, and others.
Dr. Babun is a graduate of Michigan Technological University with a major in Electrical Engineering, and a Masters in Business Administration. In 1981, he received the Outstanding Alumni Award from the university for his innovative business efforts. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy, Ph.D, from Vision International University, 2006, and a Doctor of Letters, D. Litt., from Miami International Seminary in 2002.

About Dr. Jose R. Oro
Is a Geologist and a PhD in Geothectonics with ample expertise in Mining, Basic Metal Operations, Remote Sensing, Earthquake hazards and Management. From 1991 to 1992, Dr. Oro was Chief Geologist of Jordex Resources, Inc., a mining company with operations in Canada, Mexico,Venezuela, and Colombia with responsibilities for privatization.
Through 1991, Dr. Oro was General Director of the Geophysics Agency of Cuba, a Director of the Ministry of the Basic Industries in charge of the Mining Prospecting and Environmental Remediation, and was the acting Minister of Mines of the Republic of Cuba during a two year period. And was a member of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba and of the Soviet Union.
Dr. Oro is fluent is Spanish, Russian, and English, and can communicate in Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, and French; and has written over sixty scientific papers covering Cuban Geology, Mining, Ecology, and Economic Planning. Significant among these are:
